My brother called me the other day just to borrow money. I knew from the moment my secretary told me that my brother was on line two that he needed something.
My brother never called me just to say hi or to ask how am I going. When he reconnects with his family, meanig me, my mother and my elder sister, it is to ask us for something. Many times it would be something really important like bail him out from jail. Other times, it is to pay his mountains of bills. Sometimes we try to teach him a lesson and ignore his calls but we fear that he would try to find illegal ways to take hold of money and when it comes with my brother, we really do not know where he draws his line.
So now, he wants to borrow money and before I make the decision, I have to talk this out with my family first.
